The island of Trinidad is located off the east coast of Venezuela, the two countries being separated by a channel which is not more than 12 km wide. Trinidad and Tobago have a south american flora & fauna, as opposed to the other islands of the Caribbean.
Our trip to Trinidad started at Mac Millenīs greenhouse. He grows many native orchids and his collection gets bigger and bigger.
Mac Millen guided us through the rainforest and showed us many native orchids in their natural habitat.
The last (but not least) stop of our tour across Trinidad was Arthurīs orchid nursery. He mainly produced Phalaenopsis and Dendrobium cutflowers for local hotels.
